It was reported in September that they called time on their relationship.
Yet, Cara Delevingne, 24, has set tongues wagging once again about the status of her love life after she was spotted enjoying a Broadway show alongside her former 'fiancée' St. Vincent, 34, in New York over the weekend.
The model-turned-actress appeared in jovial spirits as she lead her former flame to the stage door of the Ethel Barrymore Theatre.
The newly ice-blonde model sported a statement shearling coat as accompanied her former lover to the venue to watch Oscar winner Cate Blanchett in The Present alongside Richard Roxburgh before it finished it's highly-acclaimed run on Sunday.
She teamed her statement grey jacket with an all black look, including leg-flaunting skinny denim jeans while she worked her chin-length tresses loose chatting to a security guard outside the theatre.
Attempting to keep a low-profile behind Cara, musician St. Vincent - real name Annie Clark - wrapped a red varsity jacket around her slender frame as she carried coffee in her hand.
The oversized eye-catching coat swamped her petite figure as she too sported a pair of black denims for the occasion.
The Digital Witnesses songstress worked her brunette tresses into a chic Heidi inspired plait while she draped her leather satchel over her shoulder.
Their shock reunion at the theatre comes after they called time on the relationship in September 2016 after the pressures of long-distance became 'too much'.
According to The Sun, a source said at the time: 'The cracks were beginning to show on Cara's birthday in August when Annie wasn't there for her party.'
'They decided to call it a day but remain pals and are hoping they can work things out as its no doubt they really love each other. But at the moment, Cara has been trying to distract herself by partying.'
A month before they split, Cara gushed about her relationship in the September issue of British Vogue, published August 4 and had seemed rather happy with how things were going.
'I'm completely in love,' she'd proclaimed, adding that 'Before, I didn't know what love was - real love. I didn't understand the depth of it.'
'I always used to think it was you against the world. Now I know the meaning of life is love. Whether that's for yourself or for the world or your partner.'
The pair were very serious with Cara sparked engagement rumours after she was seen getting down on one knee at the Eiffel Tower with St Vincent at her side.
An eyewitness told The Sun: 'As my group got out of the lift I could see Cara on bended knee, clearly proposing to her girlfriend. It was really touching. Cara obviously likes to do things traditionally.'
The tourist added it wasn't clear if Cara was joking or was serious, but St Vincent was seen flying back from France with a giant diamond ring.
Despite the reported engagement, St. Vincent was seen out Twilight actress Kristen Stewart mere weeks following their split.
According to Us Weekly in October, the Snow White star and songstress were officially dating, with an insider admitting: 'It's been very romantic.'
The pair were first spotted together in late August, where they enjoyed an intimate dinner and theatre date with the Improvised Shakespeare Company in West Hollywood.
Rumours were then intensified when the musician accompanied Kristen to the screening of her new blockbuster Certain Women at the New York Film Festival in October.
