Dangerous Animals On The Loose After Tbilisi Zoo Flood

Lions, tigers, bears, jaguars and a hippo are among the animals on the loose in Georgia following a flood.

People living in Tibilisi, the country’s capital, have been told to stay indoors after more than 30 animals escaped the city’s zoo following heavy rain and wind.

It is thought eight people have been killed in the sudden flash floods, including three zoo workers.

Eight bears and wolves are believed to have escaped their enclosures, as well as six tigers and six lions.

Six wolves were reportedly killed after they were found near to a children’s hospital.
