KUALA LUMPUR – Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) midfielder, Muhamad Nazmi Faiz Mansor does not consider training at night during Ramadan as a burden.

On the other hand, the 23-year-old said training which would be conducted after the breaking of fast was important to maintain the excellent team rhythm in the 2018 Super League.

“Understanding among players should be emphasised and therefore night training in Ramadan should be stepped up as we have several matches during the fasting month.

“JDT are also leading the league now and we have to maintain consistency to continue staying at the top of the table,” he said in a short statement in the official Facebook site of JDT: Johor Southern Tigers today.

JDT are now heading the table with 25 points with five matches in Ramadan. Two of them will involve meeting second placing team and main challengers, Pahang on June 6 and 9.

They will be meeting Negeri Sembilan at Tan Sri Hassan Yunos Stadium, Larkin, next Wednesday (May 23) followed by PKNS FC at Shah Alam stadium (May 27) before hosting Perak (June 2).
