KUALA LUMPUR, June 19 -- Former Johor Darul Ta'zim II (JDT II) coach Benjamin Mora who took over as Johor Darul Ta'zim head coach in January will return to JDT II when the M-League resumes next month.

JDT Sports Director Alistair Edwards confirmed the latest development in a statement issued through the club's official Facebook, Johor Southern Tigers, today.

According to Alistair, the 51-year-old Mora returns to JDT II as the head coach since he has been doing a great job in producing young players for the senior squad.

"Young players like Fazly Mazlan, Dominic Tan, Afiq Fazail and Hadi Fayyadh have all come through his programme," he said adding that the new head coach for JDT would be announced soon.

"In the meantime assistant coaches Ismail Ibrahim and Raul Longhi will hold the fort."

JDT who were knocked out of the AFC Cup, have since signed two new foreign imports - Mohammed Ghaddar from Lebanon and Ignacio Insa Bohigues from Spain - to beef up the squad for the second round.

Insa Bohigues had played an important role in guiding Lavente to gain promotion from the Spanish League to the La Liga (Spain's premier league) for the 2017/2018 season.
