International cast for PGM Terengganu Masters
KUALA LUMPUR: England's Peter Richardson and Australian Luke Bleumink will lead an international cast at the Professional Golf of Malaysia (PGM) Terengganu Masters next week.
Richardson and Bleumink, current Asian Development Tour (ADT) Order of Merit top two leaders, will be in the hunt for their second ADT victory.
According to the Asian Tour website, Richardson, who won the PGM ADT A'Famosa Masters last month, and Bleumink, who won the PGM Johor Masters in April, would be among a strong line-up at the competition which offers total prize money of RM220,000.
""The win (in Johor) set me up nicely for the year ahead. It also shows that I can play well under pressure and the experience will be important for the rest of the season," said the 26-year-old Bleumink.
Local pro R. Nachimuthu, the reigning PGM Order of Merit winner, will lead the local charge and try to defend his title.
Other Malaysian professional golfers in the competition are two-time ADT winner S.Sivachandhran, Sukree Othman and Shaaban Hussin.
The fourth leg of the 2012 ADT will be held at the Awana Kijal Golf Beach and Spa Resort in Kijal, Terengganu from June 25 to 28.
