Wan Azizah Grateful For Muhyiddin's Successful Surgery

KUALA LUMPUR -- Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail has expressed gratitude that Home Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had safely underwent a surgery to remove a tumor in his pancreas.

In a statement today, Wan Azizah said she was informed that Muhyiddin was now in stable condition and would be on leave for follow-up treatment starting today and was expected to resume work in a month’s time.

“Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad will carry out the duties of the Home Minister during his (Muhyiddin) absence.

“I and all Malaysians are praying for Tan Sri Muhyiddin’s speedy recovery,” she said.
