10 Express Bus Drivers Test Positive For Drugs

KUALA LUMPUR -- A woman was among 10 express bus drivers tested positive for drugs during an integrated operation in conjunction with the Aidilfitri celebrations from June 8 until Tuesday.

National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) director-general Datuk Dr Abdul Halim Mohd Hussin said they were among the 2,624 bus drivers examined at 25 major bus terminals nationwide.

“The operation will end this Sunday. Those held were between 30 and 44 years. The 44-year-old woman driver was detained at Klang bus terminal on June 11,” he told a press conference at the Terminal Bersepadu Selatan here today.
