KUALA SELANGOR, 25 FEBRUARY, 2012: While Cabinet ministers were busy meeting the people on the ground, it was not well reflected as they were not receiving much news coverage, said Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Ahmad Maslan.
"Just today alone, I had eight programmes in Pontian (Johor) and tomorrow, there will be three programmes in Sabah," he said at a media conference at the Kuala Selangor parliamentary premier information session here tonight.
He said, as Umno and Barisan Nasional information bureau chief, he was always going to the ground with his Cabinet colleagues, adding that tonight, he was with Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk S. K. Devamany to give a talk.
"An information session is not only to clarify issues which took place in the country but also to examine and test the preparedness of Barisan Nasional component party machineries," he said.
