PUTRAJAYA, 31 JANUARY, 2012: Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan has agreed to the request by Cuepacs to have another three of its senior leaders co-opted into the special task force to review the Public Service New Remuneration Scheme (SBPA).
He said there was no problem if they wanted to participate because 'the more the merrier' and it was the intention of the government and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to consider the views of the others concerned.
"No problem, because if we don't accept them now, we still have to convince them so it's better to involve them from the beginning," he told reporters after attending the Malaysian Government Servants' Welfare Council (Maksak) Award Night, here.
Earlier today, Cuepacs president Datuk Omar Osman had said that the letter on the request would be sent to Mohd Sidek tomorrow.
The three senior leaders of Cuepacs proposed to join the task force were its deputy president 1 Azih Muda, general-secretary Lok Yim Pheng and financial secretary Jaafar Mansor.
