CIDB chief executive Datuk Seri Dr Judin Abd Karim said that the board was setting up a Construction Court as a response to demands for a dedicated channel to resolve disputes in the industry. "We worked with the Bar Council and industry leaders to initiate discussions on the setting up of a specialised court which will focus on resolving complex and technical construction sector disputes," Dr Judin said in a media release. The board said justice in the construction sector would be best served by construction arbitration, statutory adjudication and the specialist construction court.
