Church Burning: April 13 Mention For Trio PDF Print
  

KUALA LUMPUR, 12 MARCH 2010: The Sessions Court here today fixed April 13 for mention of a case involving two brothers and their friend who were charged with burning a church early this year.

   

 

Judge S.M Komathy Suppiah set the date pending a medical report on the accused.
   

Raja Mohammad Faizal Raja Ibrahim, 24, his brother, Raja Mohammad Idzham, 22, and Azuwan Shah Ahmad, 23, are jointly charged with several other persons still at large, to causing mischief by burning the Metro Tabernacle Church at No.28, Japan 4/4c, Desk Megawatt, here at 11.50pm on Jan 7.
   

For the offence, the trio, who work as dispatch riders, face a prison sentence of 20 years and a fine, if found guilty
   

Deputy public prosecutor Lee Keng Fat prosecuted, while the two brothers were represented by lawyer Zambri Ibrahim and Azuwan Shah, by lawyer Rosal Azimin Ahmad.
