Music Teacher Charged with Killing Brit Boyfriend PDF Print
  

PETALING JAYA, 10 MARCH, 2010: A music teacher was charged in the Magistrate's Court here today with murdering her British boyfriend last week.

 

Karen Khaw Phaik Ean, 35, was charged with murdering Andrew Michael Murchie, 46, at a house in SS2/2 Sea Park, Petaling Jaya, between 8am and 9am on March 5.

 

No plea was recorded.

 

Magistrate Ho Kwong Chin fixed April 13 for mention.

 

Deputy public prosecutor Zhafran Rahim Hamzah appeared for the prosecution while Khaw was represented by counsel Chan Weng Keng.
