[Video] “Don’t Sabotage BN” Umno Youth Exco Reminds Fellow Party Members

So far, Barisan Nasional (BN) has announced their candidates in the coming 14th General Election (GE14) for almost all states.

Though some who were not selected in the process have resorted to “sulking”, namely Umno supreme council member Datuk Mohd Puad Zarkashi and MyPPP president Tan Sri M. Kayveas.

Seeing this trend, Umno Youth executive committee member Datuk Armand Azha Abu Hanifah, decided to give some words of advice for his fellow party members through a video uploaded on his Facebook page.

In the video, Armand asked party members who were not selected as candidates to remember the real reason they joined the party – whether it was to serve the people or to gain position and power?

“If you want to serve the people, then you can serve them anytime. So there’s no need to sabotage the party or sulk. Keep serving for Barisan Nasional in the upcoming election,” he said in the video.

He added that as leaders of BN they must accept their fate and the decision with an open heart.

“If you’re not chosen, don’t sabotage the party,” urged Armand, while not ruling out the possibility of candidates who were not selected contesting as independent candidates.

Reprimanding fellow party members, Armand then went on to remind them that this is not the time to sulk but guarantee BN wins, so “relax” and “chill”, he said.
