[Video] Terrifying Moment A Man Suddenly Pushes Woman Onto Rail Tracks Caught On Camera


A man was arrested last Saturday morning after he inexplicably pushed a cleaner onto a rail track in Yuen Long town, Hong Kong.

The incident, which went viral over Chinese social medias, took place at the railway terminal around 10.30am. The video of the viral incident was posted on Facebook, and quickly went viral among the Chinese.

In the video, a woman cleaner surnamed Leung was standing on platform No 5 at the station. After waving at an acquaintance, the 56-year-old man walked towards Leung and inexplicably pushed her into the track with his right hand. After committing the heinous and highly dangerous act, he then calmly walks away.

Luckily for Leung, no train was passing by at that moment.

According to South China Morning Post, the man holds a Hong Kong identity card. A police spokeswoman has issued a statement, saying that the man has been arrested by officers on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm.

“The woman suffered injuries to her jaw and was sent to Pok Oi Hospital for treatment,” she said.

As of now, why the man pushed Leung into the tracks is still unknown, but officers are trying to get to the bottom of it.
