A mother had accidentally locked her child in the car as she was at a nearby ATM machine, and thankfully, no fatalities, but a lesson to all.

A video that went viral on Facebook had shown how a mother who was struggling to get her daughter to unlock the car door as she had locked herself out by accident.

Her daughter, Iman, who had fallen asleep whilst waiting for her mother to return could not hear her mother’s cry as the woman, frantically knocking on the car window, tried to wake her up.

But to no avail, her daughter carried on sleeping.

In the video, we could see many people crowding the car, helping the woman. Amidst the crowd was none other than Ustaz Don Daniyal, who was leading the heroic act as he used a long hard wire, to pry the window open and nudge the daughter to wake up so that the woman could properly instruct her daughter to open the door.

Within minutes, Iman, awake and in tears by then, finally managed to open the door and the mother embraced her tightly in her loving arms.

Malaysian Digest got in touch with Ustaz Don Daniyal to comment further on the incident.

“I would like to express my gratitude to all those who were there with me. This team effort had saved the day. The chronology was, we will use the hard wire to wake the little girl up from her sleep and her mother would then try to relay instructions for her to open the door.

“When the daughter woke up and managed to open the door, the crowd cheered,” he said, adding how this incident is an example of how humanity within our society still exist and there are a lot of us who are very helpful.

“Based on the Prophet Muhammad’s teachings, there are a few things that can make a man happy which includes a good partner, good transportation, a kind community, and many more. And what the citizens of Bandar Seri Putra has proven is how they live as a harmonious community.

“Therefore, with everyone’s cooperation, those who helped pry open the window, those who calmed the panicked mother, and those who gave suggestions for solutions, this is an exemplary society that we all need in this day and age,” he added.
