KUALA LUMPUR, 2 APRIL, 2012: Dell today announced the appointment of Tang Ching Siang as Dell Malaysia's new managing director.

As of April 1, Tang, who succeeds Datuk Simon Wong, will hold dual roles as the managing director and vice-president of Asia-Pacific and Japan commercial sales, it said in a statement.

Tang, who joined Dell in 1996, has held various functions in quality control, customer care programme management, product development, manufacturing and as general manager of Dell Dalian in China.

"I strongly believe in my experience at Dell and with the support of theteam, we will be able to continue the outstanding legacy of Dell," Tang said in a statement.
