RHB Bank Q2 Profits 43pc Higher, 2H Profits Up 9.4pc To RM1b

KUALA LUMPUR: RHB Bank Bhd’s second quarter profits ended June 2017 was 43.06 per cent higher at RM500.96 million from RM350.17 million posted, a year ago, mainly due to lower impairment losses and higher funding income.

Petronas Subsidiary Signs LNG Deal With S-OIL

KUALA LUMPUR: Petronas LNG Ltd (PLL), a subsidiary of Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas), has signed a 15-year sale and purchase agreement (SPA) with S-OIL Corp (S-OIL) to supply liquefied natural gas (LNG) to be used as fuel for S-OIL’s new plant operations and as feedstock for hydrogen production.

Vietnam Serves More Than Eight Million Foreign Tourists In First Eight Months

HANOI -- Vietnam welcomed more than 8.47 million foreign visitors in the first eight months of the year, up 29.7 per cent against the same period of last year,  and served 52.8 million domestic tourists, earning a total of 335.8 trillion VND (US$14.7 billion) in revenue, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reported.

Japan July Jobless Rate Flat At 2.8 Pct
